Teen Sewing Camp (Ages 13–16)

December 21-23 &28-30 2.00-5.00 pm 

Explore fashion, creativity, and practical sewing skills in this fun, hands-on camp designed for teens. Students will learn sewing fundamentals while creating stylish projects they can use and wear.

What You'll Learn

• Safe use of a sewing machine

• Fabric cutting and sewing techniques

• Reading simple patterns

• Garment construction and finishing methods

Projects Include

• Day 1: Scrunchie Fun

• Day 2: Stuffed Felt Toy

• Day 3: Hand Embroidery intro

• Day 4: Tote Bag

• Days 4–5: Cozy Pajama Pants/Shorts/Elastic waistband skirt

Materials Required

Pajama Pants: 2.3 m flannel fabric + matching thread

Shorts: 1 m linen, cotton, or lightweight denim + matching thread

Skirt: 1 ,5 m linen or cotton, poplin + matching thread (optional trim)

Students are encouraged to choose their own fabric and thread for a personalized project.

Please buy the fabrics after the first class when the project is discussed with the teacher. Dont buy a craft or quilt fabrics!
