One-Day Sewing Workshop | 3 Hours

This hands-on workshop is designed for Upper Beginner, Intermediate sewing students who want to build confidence in garment repairs and alterations.

Upper Beginner level means you already have basic sewing skills — you can confidently operate a sewing machine, do simple hand-stitching, and are familiar with basic seams.

These programs will give you the essential skills needed to fully enjoy this workshop.

What You’ll Learn

• Quick and effective techniques for repairing hems, seams, and garments

• How to sew and replace zippers

• Button replacement and buttonhole repair

• Adjusting fit by taking in or letting out seams

• Professional hemming techniques

• Tips and tricks for working with challenging fabrics and common repair issues

• Use of sewing machines, tools, and notions

• Sample fabrics for practice

• Small white zippers and buttons for learning

• Personalized guidance from an experienced instructor

• We provide sample fabrics, buttons, and zippers for practice

What to Bring

• You are welcome to bring your own garments that need:

  • Button replacement

  • Hemming

  • Zipper replacement

 Please bring no more than two items, as time is limited and we want to ensure quality results for everyone.
