Confident Beginner / Intermediate
Give an old garment a second life and turn it into something completely new.
In this hands-on workshop, students will learn how to redesign and reconstruct an existing garment using practical sewing and alteration techniques.
Choose one of two project options:
Upcycle a Shirt — transform an oversized or unwanted shirt into a new wearable piece using design changes, trims, shaping, volume, or decorative details.
Upcycle a Blazer into a Jacket — restyle a blazer by changing its length, shape, sleeves, closures, pockets, or adding creative design elements.
