Get your child started on a creative journey with this fun and hands-on sewing program! Over 8 exciting weeks, kids will learn to sew step-by-step while completing useful and adorable projects they’ll be proud to show off.

What They’ll Learn:• How to safely use and control a sewing machine• Basic stitching, cutting, and pinning techniques• Simple pattern work, hand embroidery, and embellishing• Practical sewing skills through guided projects

Weekly Projects & Schedule:

Week 1 -  April 4- 10 am -12.30 pm

Master the sewing machine & practice stitches. Scrunchie Fun! Learn to sew colorful, stretchy scrunchies

Week 2 - April 11 - 10 am -12.30 pm

Drawstring Backpack Create your own lightweight, functional backpack

Week 3 -  April 18- 10 am -12.30 pm

Throw Pillow Sew a cute stuffed pillow with fall fabrics

Week 4 -  April 25 - 10 am -12.30 pm

Intro to Hand Embroidery Learn basic stitches and practice on a mini hoop

Week 5 -May 2 - 10 am -12.30 pm

Apron Project, Part 1Cutting, assembling, and sewing the base

Week 6 -May 9 - 10 am -12.30 pm

Apron Project, Part 2Add ruffles, pockets, and final finishing touches

Pajama Pants ,Part1 Cutting , assembling, and sewing the base

​Week 8 - May 23- 10 am -12.30 pm

Pajama Project, Part 2 adding details, and final finishing touches, steaming.

Perfect For:• Kids aged 9–13• Absolute beginners• Young makers who love creative projects

​

What to Bring:

Students are required to bring 2 meters of flannel fabric for the pajama pants and 1 meter of cotton fabric for the apron.

*Parents please provide the snacks and rink for your children 

​

Included: Sewing machines, tools, fabrics, embroidery floss, stuffing, patterns, and all basic notions.

​

The Program could be slightly changed , depends of the season theme, and general capability of the students. The given time is approximate sometimes it could be increased for a half an hour more.
