You will build your own.
Step by step, you will learn how garments truly fit the body — and how to control that fit through construction logic and technical understanding.

The workflow follows a professional atelier model:
Draft → Mock-up → Fit → Correct → Model
Course Breakdown
Phase 1 – Bodice Construction & Fitting
• Professional body measurements & ease
• Drafting a full-scale bodice block
• Understanding fit balance and proportional adjustments
• Creating a mock-up (home assignment)
• In-class fitting and technical corrections
You will complete a corrected bodice block tailored to your measurements.
Phase 2 – Pants Construction & Development
• Drafting a professional pants block
• Understanding crotch depth, balance, and movement
• Identifying and correcting common fitting issues
• Transforming the base block into design variations
This stage builds strong technical control of lower-body fit.
Phase 3 – Skirt Construction
• Drafting a professional skirt block
• Understanding hip balance and silhouette structure
• Clean, balanced construction principles
Phase 4 – Modeling & Design Transformation
• Dart manipulation
• Volume and shaping techniques
• Pleats and structural elements
• Sleeve integration
• Collar drafting basics
• Design variations from base blocks
You will learn how to transform one foundation into multiple designs without compromising fit.
