Teen's Sewing Camp

Discover the world of fashion, creativity, and practical sewing skills in this exciting hands-on sewing camp designed specifically for teens. Whether you're completely new to sewing or have some basic experience, this camp will help you build confidence while creating stylish projects you can proudly use and wear.
Throughout the week, students will learn essential sewing techniques, develop problem-solving skills, and gain experience working with commercial sewing patterns and garment construction.
What You'll Learn
• Safe and confident use of a sewing machine
• Sewing straight, curved, and corner seams
• Fabric cutting and layout techniques
• Understanding basic sewing patterns
• Garment construction and assembly
• Pressing and professional finishing techniques
• Troubleshooting common sewing challenges
• Building accuracy and confidence in sewing projects
Projects Include
Day 1 – Custom Scrunchie & Sewing Essentials

Learn machine operation and basic sewing skills

Create one or more custom scrunchies
Day 2 – Designer Tote Bag or Knot Bag with the little embroidery

Practice measuring, cutting, and construction

Create a durable, reusable tote bag
Day 3 – Make up Pouch

Choose from a felt accessory, zippered pouch, or decorative textile project

Learn precision sewing and finishing techniques
Days 4–5 – Wearable Fashion Project
Students may choose one of the following projects:
• Cozy Pajama Pants
• Summer Shorts
• Elastic-Waist Skirt

You should buy the fabrics after the first class , when the final project is discussed with the instructor.
We encourage students to select their own fabric and thread from a fabric store. Choosing materials is an important part of the creative process and helps students personalize their projects.
