​Elevate your sewing skills with our Classic Shirt Sewing Class, designed for pre-intermediate students ready to take the next step. This hands-on course focuses on creating a well-tailored, professional-quality shirt and builds foundational techniques essential for garment construction.

What You’ll Learn:

• Reading and working with sewing patterns

• Fabric cutting and handling techniques

• Fitting fundamentals

• Machine operation and sewing technology

• Construction of seams, collars, cuffs, and buttonholes

​

This program is highly recommended for students planning to apply to the Fashion Design program at Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU), as it helps meet key entry-level sewing skill requirements.

Included:

• Sewing machines

• All tools, notions, and patterns

​

Students must bring:

• 1.7-2  meters of cotton or linen fabric for the shirt and denim, cotton tweel, gabardine, light wool could be a blend        if you are not sure about the fabrics please contact us lacouturehello@gmail.com

• 10 buttons/ or zipper

• lining (the same amount as main fabrics) if you are an ambitious student and decide to challenge your self
